Sasha Bentley-Rohret

Senior Manager, Student Success & College Pathways

As the Senior Manager, Student Success & College Pathways, Sasha coordinates the delivery of college-in-high-school courses, builds community for our scholars, and provides opportunities for college access supports, helping to advance economic and social mobility opportunities for low-income students and students of color across the US. Before joining the National Education Equity Lab team, Sasha worked as a teaching assistant and lecturer at the University of Chicago, where she is pursuing a PhD in Egyptian Archaeology, and led diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the university. During her graduate studies, she also worked in museum education, creating innovative youth and family programming, and designing STEAM-based outreach programs for elementary and middle-school students in underserved school districts. Sasha’s work has made her passionate about promoting educational equity for students of all ages, and ensuring they have the opportunity to achieve their own version of success. Through her work at the Lab, she aims to enhance our scholars’ lives through education, outreach, and service.
