Senior Data and Operations Associate

As a Senior Data & Operations Associate, Cote contributes to the Lab’s efforts to further develop its analytic capability and drive improvements at scale. Before joining the Lab, Cote worked at Thomas College as the Data Analyst for a $2.3M Title III Grant awarded to expand the College’s capacity to serve first-generation and low-income students. She has also directed Thomas College’s TRIO Student Support Services grant and partnered with faculty, staff, and students to make innovative programs available to TRIO participants and to cultivate a strong, supportive community. Other roles that Cote held at Thomas College include student success coach, tutor coordinator, and adjunct instructor. She received multiple awards while at Thomas College, including the Terrier STAR Award for creating and managing a Lending Library for students at no cost to them or to the institution.

Cote is a proud first-generation graduate and is passionate about advancing educational equity for all students, particularly students who have faced hardships. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College, a master’s degree in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College, and a certificate in Data Science from the University of Maine at Augusta. While in college and graduate school, Cote worked as a research assistant on several projects, spanning from game design to reduce implicit bias in STEM to maternal support of early math cognition. She also served as a college access intern for the Summer Enrichment at Dartmouth (SEAD) program and as a graduate assistant for Boston College’s Learning to Learn program. She is excited to synthesize her commitment to educational equity with her skills in data analysis and reporting to contribute to the Lab and its critical mission.
